Who am I?

My name is Katie Houlihan. I am a mother of three (Abby-17, Sean-14, Evie-11) and reside in Lowry, Denver. Recently, I retired from a 20+ year career in finance. My retirement began during the pandemic, which ignited my health journey where I eradicated PCOS and pre-diabetes with nutrition, weightlifting, cardiovascular exercise, and yoga. I am now working as a part-time postpartum doula and recently trained in Ayurveda.

What are the benefits of hiring me as your Postpartum Doula?

  • honor mama as the divine goddess that she is!
  • provide flexibility for whatever needs to be done
  • empower mama to find the answers for herself
  • work to create sacred space, deep healing and bonding/attachment
  • share my wisdom as a mother of three and a trained ayurvedic postpartum doula
  • be your number one cheerleader

How you pay me?

My fee will be easily covered by the money you will save on things like baby formula, takeout, psychological therapy, sickness, etc.

  • I charge $50 per hour
  • Determine if you want my services for 10, 15 or 20 hours per week
  • I collect a deposit (half upfront)
  • The deposit is due on the date this contract is signed
  • It is nonrefundable
  • It must be redeemed within 12 weeks after the day baby is born
  • If my own mother becomes gravely ill, I will give you a prorated amount of your money back because I will need to place my physical body in San Diego where my mother resides.
  • Hours are promised but flexible. For example if you  would like a date night with your husband, we can bank some hours and use at a different time for your special occasion!

What I will not do?

  • boss mama around
